Fun day out

Took Harrison to the Science Museum on Friday. I haven't been there for about 15 years, it had changed a lot but was still a brilliant day out with lots to see, do and learn. The emphasis is definitely on interaction with hundreds of touch screens around the place with information, games and demonstrations on them. There are also a number of specific exhibition which you have to pay for but, considering there is no entry fee, is fair enough. We went in to the Spy exhibition, the i-max (dinosaurs 3D) and a Sponge Bob Square Pants simulator. They were all pretty good, especially the Spying and i-max!! I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone with a restless nipper wanting a good day out. The only down side was going in the school holidays, it was pretty busy but well worth queues!!
